WorkPact legal
Terms of Service
These terms explain the basic rules for using WorkPact and the responsibilities we each have when working together.
Last updated: October 5, 2026
1. Using WorkPact
By accessing WorkPact, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you use WorkPact for a company or other organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms on its behalf.
You must provide accurate information, keep your account credentials secure, and promptly update information that is no longer accurate. You are responsible for activity under your account.
2. WorkPact is a platform
WorkPact helps companies and independent workers discover each other, agree on work terms, communicate, and review tracked work. WorkPact is not an employer, staffing agency, legal adviser, or party to the agreement between a company and a worker unless we expressly say so in a separate written agreement.
You are responsible for evaluating people, companies, opportunities, work quality, payment arrangements, taxes, and legal obligations that apply to your relationship.
3. Your content and conduct
You retain ownership of content you submit to WorkPact. You give us a limited license to host, store, display, and process that content as needed to operate, secure, and improve the service.
You may not:
- break the law or violate another person's rights;
- misrepresent your identity, skills, company, or authority;
- upload malicious code or attempt to compromise the service;
- scrape, copy, or commercially exploit the service without permission; or
- use WorkPact to harass, discriminate against, or defraud anyone.
4. Agreements, work, and payments
Any scope, rate, schedule, approval rule, or other term you enter into with another user is your responsibility. WorkPact records and displays those terms but does not guarantee that either party will perform.
Unless we clearly state otherwise at checkout or in a separate agreement, WorkPact does not process or guarantee payments between users. You are responsible for choosing a lawful payment method and handling applicable taxes, fees, refunds, and disputes.
5. Intellectual property
WorkPact and its branding, software, design, and content are owned by WorkPact or its licensors and are protected by applicable law. These terms give you permission to use the service for its intended purpose; they do not transfer ownership to you.
6. Availability and disclaimers
We work to keep WorkPact useful and available, but the service may change, be interrupted, or include errors. To the extent permitted by law, WorkPact is provided as available without warranties that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or suitable for a particular purpose.
7. Suspension, termination, and changes
We may suspend or end access if you breach these terms, create risk, misuse the service, or if we discontinue the service. You may stop using WorkPact at any time. Terms that should reasonably continue, including ownership, disclaimers, and limitations of liability, will survive termination.
We may update these terms as WorkPact changes. We will post the new version on this page and update the date above. Continuing to use WorkPact after an update means you accept the revised terms.
