Understand job-posting eligibility and tokens

Learn why WorkPact checks hiring outcomes and token balance before publishing.

Two checks happen at publication

The server checks both conditions and applies the token cost when it publishes the job. A failed attempt does not create a public job.

  • Token balance: publishing one job currently costs 10 company tokens.
  • Hiring eligibility: the company must satisfy the active WorkPact hire-rate policy or remain within its introductory allowance.

How the hire rate works

The rate compares filled jobs with jobs completed either with or without a hire. Drafts, cancelled jobs, removed jobs, and jobs that are still open do not count. New companies receive a limited introductory allowance before enough completed outcomes exist.

WorkPact sets the active threshold. Close jobs accurately so the hiring record reflects what actually happened. This policy is part of WorkPact’s accountable marketplace.

Current token checkout status

Token plans are role-specific, and company tokens cannot be used as compensation for talent. Checkout is currently a demo and does not collect real payment. The company plan page identifies this before confirmation.
