Track and review work

Learn how talent records work and how companies review time and milestones.

Track hourly work

Talent can use the desktop tracker for an active hourly pact. Stopping the timer automatically submits the completed entry to the company; there is no separate talent submission step.

Short sessions under 30 minutes may merge into the latest eligible tracked entry for the same pact when no other work lies between them. WorkPact preserves the underlying session timing for accurate summaries.

Manual time and company review

Manual time is available only when the pact permits it and requires a memo. A company can approve or dispute each submitted entry for three days. An entry with no decision is automatically approved after that window.

Only one timer may run for a talent account, and time periods cannot overlap.

Milestones and lifecycle changes

Fixed-price pacts can use milestones for ordered deliverables and company review. Their approval indicates progress only; compensation remains outside WorkPact.

Pausing or closing a pact stops new work and submits any running timer as its own entry. Review what a pact records and how compensation works for the surrounding workflow.
